Celadon is designed, built, marketed and sold by a team led by Origin Development. Origin Development was started by two partners, James Funderburk and Jim Hock who are passionate about Charlotte and seek to improve the community.
James Funderburk- Principal
Funderburk, whose vision created Celadon, has been involved in real estate investment in Charlotte for the last 11 years. He has catered to the design-conscious, fashion-forward crowd with his chain of clothing stores, including Lotus, Civilian and the former Urban Evolution, as well as his former nightclub Tonic. He led development of a planned boutique hotel in uptown Charlotte, which subsequently evolved into David Furman’s Trademark condominiums. Jim Hock- Principal
As a native Charlottean, Hock has a passion about its neighborhoods and hopes to help others find the joy of living in the city, as a part of a vibrant neighborhood.
